J.D. GREEN

Clarksville, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native J.D. Green, age 76, was born May 15, 1932 and died April 25, 2009 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A court officer with the Warren County Sheriff's Department and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Bryan and Susie Goodson Green. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Kinnard; brother, James Green and grandson, Chance Green. He was married to Ann Roberts Green of Clarksville, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Juanita Green of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, James Green of McMinnville, Rachel Smith of Oklahoma and Dusty Green of Clarksville, TN; two great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in High's Chapel with Mike Madewell officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Hill Cemetery in White County, TN.
