Bobby Jewell GRIBBLE

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Bobby Jewell Gribble, age 67, was born December 18, 1941 and died June 4, 2009 at his residence following an eight-month illness. A self-employed logger, a member of Mt. View Church of Christ and a member of the Masonic Lodge, he was the son of the late Jewell Robinson and Jessie Roberta Hodges Gribble. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Anderson and Louise Gribble and Ernest and Julia Hodges. He is survived by son, Bobby Dale Gribble of Rock Island, TN; two brothers, Larry and special sister-in-law, Tammie Gribble of Rock Island, TN and Wayne Gribble of Panama; nieces, Mary Beth Gribble of Knoxville, TN and Beth Fitch of McMinnville; nephews, Jason Gribble of Atlanta, GA and Heath Gribble of Panama; special auntie, Polly Woodlee of McMinnville and favorite dog, Twister. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Mt. View Church of Christ with Joe Solomon officiating. Burial followed in Mt. View Cemetery Hwy. 30.
