Cathy Carletta GRISSOM

Smithville, TN resident and Warren County native Cathy Carletta Grissom, age 54, was born November 8, 1954 and died May 13, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A former employee of Precision Molding and member of the First Congregational Methodist Church, she was the daughter of Wanda Turner Lindsey of Sparta, TN and the late James C. Breedlove. She was married November 15, 1972 to Wayne Grissom of Smithville, TN. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Tammy Nunley of Smithville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Lorrie Lindsey of Smithville, TN; five grandchildren, Sam Northcutt, Dillon Northcutt, Macy Nunley, Hailey Nunley and Hannah Lindsey; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Earl Keen of Sparta, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Carol Breedlove of Sparta, TN; special nieces, Vanessa Cannon of Rock Island, TN and Bridgett Turner of McMinnville and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery @ Bluff Springs.
