McMinnville resident and Kendalville, IN native Judy Lee Hennessee, age 66, was born July 4, 1943 and died September 25, 2009 at her residence following a five-month illness. A homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Cramer Lock. She was married March 9, 1963 to Don Hennessee of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don Jr. "D.J." and Michelle Hennessee of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Denice Hennessee and Zachary Hennessee both of McMinnville; four step-children, Jo Lee McKinley of Bronson, MI, Dianna Rhinesmith and Terry Andrews both of Howe, IN and David McBride of LaGrange, IN; twelve step-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Hernandez of Topeka, IN; two brothers, William Lock of Granger, IN and Kenneth Lock of Grand Rapids, MI and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Dr. James Porch officiating. Burial followed in the Shellsford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Autism Society of Middle Tennessee, McMinnville Gideon Camp and Meals On Wheels all care of High's.
