Jack HICKEY

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Jack Hickey, age 77, was born March 27, 1932 and died June 18, 2009 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A retired accountant with Carrier Corporation, United States Navy veteran of Korea and member of the Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Bryce and Lona Mae Keel Hickey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Col. Bryce Hickey. He was married December 23, 1961 to Faye Masters Hickey of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Duane Hickey of Murfreesboro, TN and Richard and Melanie Hickey of Nashville, TN and two nephews, Keel Hickey of Mt. Juliet, TN and Mike Hickey of Franklin, TN. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 in High's Chapel with Harry Camp and Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Mt.
