Rickey Eugene HOWARD

Rock Island, TN resident and Cumberland County, TN native Rickey Eugene Howard, age 27, was born October 20, 1981 and died May 15, 2009 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A farmer, he was the son of Teresa Bryant Howard of Rock Island, TN and Rick Howard of Pikeville, TN. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Violet Howard and uncle, George Howard. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Kim Howard of Pikeville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Amy Howard of Rock Island, TN; sister Kayla Shockley of Rock Island, TN; nieces and nephew, Courtney, Seth and Violet Howard; maternal grandfather, Bennie Bryant of Rock Island, TN; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Certain of Rock Island, TN; many special aunts uncles and cousins. Funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009 in High's Chapel with Haskell Myers officiating. Burial followed in the Laurel Creek Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
