Centertown Community resident and Rutherford County, TN native Justin Clay Jacobs, age 22, was born January 10, 1987 and died March 10, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. An employee of Burger King and member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church, he was the son of Aaron and Joyce Gunter Jacobs of the Centertown Community. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Liman Ray Gunter; cousins, Khyva James and Joe Lyle and uncle Frank Cope. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jonathan Corey Jacobs (Jessica McGee) of the Centertown Community and Joshua Cole Jacobs of Hardiman County, TN; niece, Maelee Brooke McGee of McMinnville; nephews, Tristen Bryce McGee Jacobs of McMinnville and Kamrin McLaughlin of the Centertown Community; maternal grandmother, June Gunter of the Short Mountain Community; paternal grandparents, Nevis and Imogene Jacobs of the Centertown Community and aunts and uncles, David and Janie Bryant of Manchester, TN, Clarence and Kay Jones and Kathy and Keith Bouldin both of McMinnville, David and Debbie Lorance, Terry and Donna Gunter, Tony and Evonne Gunter, Christy Wimberly and Steven and Patricia Powell all of Woodbury, TN, Arnold Gunter and Jerry Gunter both of the Short Mountain Community, Sue Ann Cope and Doris and James Young both of the Centertown Community and Donna and Charles Jenkins of Lebanon, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009 in High's Chapel with John Padgett and Tommy Lusk officiating. Burial followed in the Centertown Cemetery.
