Alma Magnolia Brady JONES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Alma Magnolia Brady Jones, age 86, was born June 16, 1923 and died November 28, 2009 at River Park Hospital. A retired cook with the Warren County School System and a member of the Earlyville Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Tom Anderson and Mattie Fluella Newby Brady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hall Jones; sister, Lillie Brady Medlen and step grandchild, Deric Wilson. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Glenell Jones and John Cantrell of the Lucky Community; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Sandra Jones and Thomas and Jackie Jones all of the Lucky Community; sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Aris Ritchey of the Lucky Community; brother and sister-in-law, Tom Mack and Betty Brady of Monticello, GA; grandchildren, Penny Elrod, Shawn Cantrell, Michael, Jason, Rickey and Jennifer Jones, Tyler and Garrett Jones; step-grandchild, Jay Wilson; great-grandchildren, Evan, Aaron, Hayden and Olivia Jones, Kalie and Barry Elrod, Eli and Shawna Cantrell and special life long friend, Juanita Copeland. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2009 in High's Chapel with Johnnie Lance officiating. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
