Betty Jean Hudson JONES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty Jean Hudson Jones, age 65, was born March 6, 1944 and died June 24, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of A.O. Smith and member of the Quebeck Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Charles Marshall and Irene Muncey Fults. She was married to James Hudson and Billy Edward Jones both of whom preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Lewis Fults and nephew, Paul Morgan Fults. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Denise Hudson of McMinnville and Jerry and Kathy Hudson of Rock Island, TN; granddaughter, Brandi Hudson of McMinnville; two step-grandsons and their spouses, Justin and Chelsey Bouldin of Winchester, TN and Lynn and Leah Honeycutt of McMinnville; step-great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Lacy Honeycutt of McMinnville; two step-children, Mark Jones of N. Augusta, SC and Connie Morgan of Clarks Hill, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Willie Paul and Louise Fults of McMinnville; godchildren, Saul Haney and Matthew and Crystal Eis all of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Dorothy Pearl Jones of McMinnville and niece and her husband, Sheila and Mike Smith of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 in High's Chapel with David Bratcher officiating. Burial followed in the Shellsford Cemetery.
