Michael Mike Emmett KELL

Selmer, TN resident and Warren County native Michael "Mike" Emmett Kell, age 61, was born October 5, 1947 and died January 22, 2009 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a four-day illness. A truck driver for Aqua Glass Company, United States Army veteran and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Marvin Emmett and Thelma Lee Neal Kell, Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, D.L. and Hannah Neal and Marvin Emmett and Ova Simmons Kell, Sr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Bryan and Kristen Kell of McMinnville and Jeremy Ray and Penny Kell of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Shelbi Ogle and Logan Kell of McMinnville and Phoebe Kell of Murfreesboro, TN and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 in High's Chapel with Jonathan Stubblefield and Royce Davenport officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery.
