Lawrence Hunter LONG

Morrison, TN resident and Putnam County, TN native Lawrence Hunter Long, age 81, was born March 1, 1928 and died November 4, 2009 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired employee of Arwood Can Company and he served in the Army National Guard. He was the son of the late William Thomas and Mary Jane Willis Long. He was married to Betty Jaco Long of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two step-daughters, Betty Jean Floyd and Evelyn Kilgore both of McMinnville; step-son, Jimmy Floyd of McMinnville; eight step-grandchildren and thirteen step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 in High's Chapel with Bob Case officiating.
