Mildred Annie LOWRY

Rock Island, TN resident and Hardinsville, IL native Mildred Annie Lowry, age 101, was born August 31, 1907 and died June 28, 2009 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. The co-owner of Lowry's Feed Mill and member of the Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eliza Annie Price Hutchings. She was married to Randolph Taylor "R.T." Lowry who preceded her in death October 19, 1990. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jane Lowry Ford and grandson, Charles Steven Ford. She is survived by two grandchildren, Susan Ford of Rock Island, TN and Sharon Ford of Nashville, TN; five great-grandchildren, Chuck Ford of Pikeville, TN, Shannon Ford and Jeffrey Peters both of Rock Island, TN, Stephanie Hall of Nashville, TN and Jennifer Lowry Enss of Columbia, TN and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Bybee Branch Church of Christ with Tony Lawrence and Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
