Minnie Edna MABE

Campaign, TN resident and White County, TN native Minnie Edna Mabe, age 91, was born February 25, 1918 and died June 24, 2009 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired grocery clerk at Campaign Market and member of the Campaign First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Sissie Craig Brock. She was married sixty-one years to Jesse Louis Mabe who preceded her in death April 8, 1998. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Fuqua; an infant son and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son, Sammy Wayne Mabe of Rock Island, TN; five grandchildren, Jeff Mabe, Eddie Mabe, Cindy Callender, Amy Fuqua and Jennifer Mabe and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 in High's Chapel with Tim Parish officiating. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery in White County, TN.
