Rex Allen MARTIN

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Rex Allen Martin, age 41, was born September 3, 1967 and died May 15, 2009 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A farmer and member of the church, he was the son of Gary and Brenda Martin of Rock Island, TN. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Stella Hoover and Hamby and Rosie Martin. He was married to Logann Rigsby Martin of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by four sons, Austin and Gus Martin both of Spencer, TN, Farmer Martin of Rock Island, TN and Lex Martin Dodson of Manchester, TN; daughter, Chloe Martin of Rock Island, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Scott Harrell of Morrison, TN; nephew, McKay Harrell of Morrison, TN; nieces, Macy and Myla Harrell of Morrison, TN and Emilya Hobbs of Spencer, TN; brother-in-law, Martin Rigsby of Cookeville, TN; sister-in-law, Emily Hobbs of Spencer, TN; father-in-law, Larry Rigsby of Spencer, TN; mother-in-law, Karen Hickey of Cookeville, TN; uncles and aunts, Larry and Judy Martin, Larry and Mary Rigsby and David and Judy Grissom all of Rock Island, TN and Bobby and Judy Hoover of Morrison, TN and aunts, Nancy Mitchell of Morrison, TN and Delores Glenn and Leoma Hoover both of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009 in High's Chapel with David Grissom, Tim Lewis and Leslie Hickey officiating. Burial followed in the Eureka Cemetery.
