Keith MAXWELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Keith Maxwell, age 64, was born April 5, 1945 and died July 24, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a four-month illness. A retired teacher and coach with the Warren County School System, he served in the Tennessee Army National Guard, was a member of the First Baptist Church and the son of Mattie Maxwell of McMinnville and the late Joe Maxwell. He was preceded in death by father-in-law Floyd Page. He was married August 10, 1968 to Shirley Maxwell of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Leann and Jason Nokes of McMinnville; one grandson, Gage Nokes of McMinnville; mother-in-law, Era Page of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Rozan Davidson of Knoxville, TN and Keith and Kerri Page of Owensboro, KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 in High's Chapel with David Snowden officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Relay for Life.
