Vinona Virginia MIKKOLA

Rock Island, TN resident and Thompson, MI native Vinona Virginia Mikkola, age 95, was born October 25, 1913 and died February 5, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Annette Smith Gardpee. She is survived by children, Donald Chandanais of Washington State, Yvonne Mikkola of Rock Island, TN, Donna Bryant, Patricia Auerbach, Diane Monarch and Gail Stephens all of Michigan, Larry Chandanais of Missouri and Janet Richter of Texas; thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren, twenty-five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service and burial were held in Michigan.
