Gertie MILLER

Campaign, TN resident and Warren County native Gertie Miller, age 82, was born February 7, 1927 and died February 22, 2009 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A supervisor at Casual Apparel in Sparta, TN and a member Friendship The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Charles Erskin and Emma Bernice Rutledge Rogers. She was married to Herman Dewey Miller who preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and James Rowland and Charlotte and Burton Grissom both of Campaign, TN; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kevin and Lisa Rowland, Greg and Lori Rowland and Stephanie and Listeth Hale all of Rock Island, TN and Jammie and Steven Lowery of Quebeck, TN; seven great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Kristen Rowland, Alex and Kylie Rowland, Emalee and Dillon Hale and Ransom Lowery; brother and sister-in-law, Arlis and Ella Rogers of Rock Island, TN; sisters-in-law, Joyce Rogers of Phoenix, AZ and Edna Miller of Spencer, TN; Brothers-in-law, Tommy Miller and Andy Miller both of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
