Louree Campbell MULLINS

Louree Mullins, beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, went to her long home on October 26, 2009. She was born Bertha Louree Campbell on May 6, 1924, to Beecher and Lou Phemia Tenpenny Campbell. She married Herman Wendell Mullins on September 25, 1942; he passed away May 4, 2000. She was a member of the Pocahontas, Bethany, Smartt Station, Arlington, and Westwood churches of Christ during her long and Godly life. She retired from McMinnville Garment Company in 1978 to help care for her grandchildren, who with their mothers were the joys of her and Herman?s lives. Mrs. Mullins is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Nancy Melissa and Edward Wayne McNeal of Van Buren County, and Carole Joanna and Thomas M. Cathcart of McMinnville. Her grandchildren and their spouses, Curtis Elliott & Lisa Aven Cathcart of Gallatin, Brian Thomas & Ashleigh Limbaugh Cathcart of Murfreesboro, Joanna Lauren McNeal of Cookeville, Carson Edward & Holly Vaughn McNeal of Tanzania, Africa, and Joseph Connor McNeal of Knoxville survive, along with her first great-grandchild, Jude Edward McNeal of Tanzania, who is expected in February. Mrs. Mullins was preceded by sisters and brother-in-law, Alta Mae Campbell and Minnie Lorena & Edwin Cooper, and by brothers and sister-in-law, Newton & Eudean Campbell, Elbert Cleveland Campbell, Taylor Beecher Campbell, and Truman Edward Campbell, as well as her dear niece, Melba Sue Cooper Dodson. Four sisters-in-law, Lourene Campbell of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Beatrice Campbell and Bea Campbell of McMinnville, and Pauline Campbell of Franklin survive. She is also survived by special nieces, Marsha Cooper Collins and Judy Campbell Johnson, and by other dear nieces and nephews: Mary Frances Campbell Jones, Linda Campbell Templeton, Brenda Campbell Shropshire, Peggy Campbell Pennington, Rhonda Campbell Godbee, Kay Campbell Harlow, and Gary, Kenny, Wayne, Tommy, Ray, and Jason Campbell, as well as many great-nieces and nephews. ?Mrs. Louree?s? loving caregivers at The Webb House Retirement Center in Smithville are honorary pallbearers. The Mullins family requests that instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the McNeal Tanzanian Mission Fund in care of Gallatin Church of Christ, 150 East Main St., Gallatin, TN 37066.
