Jean MYERS

McMinnville resident and Humphreys County, TN native Jean Myers, age 79, was born September 4, 1930 and died November 18, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. The former owner of G&M Supermarket and a beautician, she was a member of the Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late James and Martha Jones Divinnie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. She was married to Tully Myers of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kay Starr of Baxter, TN and Carisa and Charles Watson and Aleta and David Boatman both of the Ivy Bluff Community; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Sherry Waldron, David and Crystal Waldron, Nigel and Tara Kapadia, Seth Kapadia, Anand Kapadia, Cody Myers and Rhiannon Myers; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Wilcox of Knoxville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 in High's Chapel with Daniel Hayes officiating. Burial followed in the Ivy Bluff Cemetery.
