Sadie Louise NICHOLAS

Morrison, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Sadie Louise Nicholas, age 69, was born April 22, 1940 and died August 14, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Cox Nunley. She was married May 10, 1968 to Virgil Lloyd Nicholas who preceded her in death January 27, 2008. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, James and Gail Murray and Richard and Annette Nicholas both of Morrison, TN, Billy Johnson of McMinnville and Charles and David Johnson both of Woodbury, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Buddy Johnson of Woodbury, TN; step-sons, Everett Nicholas and wife, Jean of McMinnville and Lloyd Nicholas of Morrison, TN; step-daughter, Charlotte Nicholas of Morrison, TN; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Carolyn Cox of McMinnville, Dave and Blue Anderson of Grundy County, TN and Chester Anderson of Florida and several nieces an nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 in High's Chapel with Danny Higgins officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery @ Barren Fork.
