Francis Frank PEARSALL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Francis "Frank" Pearsall, age 87, was born January 31, 1921 an died January 14, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired employee of Service Transport, United States Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Francis Eugene and Mary Maude Smartt Pearsall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tom Williamson; grandson, Mark Turner; sister, Margaret Pruitt and brothers, Adrian, Everett and Floyd "Pig" Pearsall. He was married September 12, 1969 to Louise Humphrey Pearsall of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Sherry Turner and Lisa Pearsall both of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Chuck Turner and Olivia Turner both of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren, Josh Turner and Taylor Tittsworth both of McMinnville; great-great-grandchild, Graedan Turner of McMinnville; sister, Reba Ilena Reynolds of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Jean Pearsall of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Virginia Pearsall of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 in High's Chapel with Gary Few and Damon Woodlee officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
