Billy Sterling Pa PENDLETON

McMinnville resident and Morrison, TN native Billy Sterling "Pa" Pendleton, age 67, was born September 2, 1941 and died February 26, 2009 at his residence following a lingering illness. A retired employee of A.O. Smith and member of the Calvary Worship Center, he was the son of the late William Sterling and Velma Lue Simmons Pendleton. He was married May 27, 1961 to Minnie Ellen Vaughn who preceded him in death in 1997. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Terry D. Pendleton and sister, Wilma Jean Pendleton. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Angela Ruth and Billy Johnson of McMinnville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Delilah June Pendleton and Kenny L. Pendleton both of Knoxville, TN; five granddaughters, Ashley Pendleton of McMinnville and Becky, Stephanie, Kayla and Chelsey Pendleton all of Nashville, TN; grandson, Terry Dewayne Pendleton of Nashville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Ruth and Lonnie Simons of the Irving College Community; three step-grandchildren; special niece and nephew, Ricky Simons and Donna Long; special cousin, Sterling Simmons and several other cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2009 in High's Chapel with Rev. David Snowden officaiting. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery.
