Theresa Gail PORTILLO

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Chicago, IL native Theresa Gail Portillo, age 51, was born April 16, 1957 and died April 8, 2009 at Alive Hospice @ St. Thomas Hospital following an extended illness. She was the daughter of Matt and Betty Taylor of Hoffman Estates, IL. She was married January 31, 1981 to Rene Portillo of Murfreesboro, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Ronald Williams of Manchester, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Tony Mazzano of Redland, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Melinda Taylor of Schamburg, IL; uncle and aunt, Alton and Elizabeth Patrick of McMinnville; aunts and uncles, Geneva and Marvin Crouch and Joanna and Carl Pack both of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Hunter, Willie and Spencer; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 in High's Chapel with Ray Tenpenny officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery.
