Mary Florence ROACH

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Mary Florence Roach, age 74, was born July 10, 1935 and died October 27, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A domestic worker with the Joe Boyd family and member of the Hiawassee Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Eula Biles Roach, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe M. Biles, Florence Ashley Biles and Mary Savage Biles; three brothers and one sister. She was a devoted church member who looked forward to the ladies day celebration. She was also an excellent cook and loved to travel. She is survived by one brother, Bobbie Roach of Morrison, TN and cousins, Louise Gray, Carlos P. Gray, Sr., Darlene Gray, Lynette Gray Jackson and Rodney Curtis Gray all of Cincinnati, OH. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 in High's Chapel with George King, Jr. and Phillip Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Old Philadelphia Cemetery.
