Clara Ethel Bilbrey SELLS

McMinnville resident (formerly of Livingston, TN) and Overton County, TN native Clara Ethel Bilbrey Sells, age 83, was born April 27, 1926 and died September 23, 2009 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a brief illness. A homemaker and member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Sammie Decada and Sally Ethel Livingston Bilbrey. She was married October 15, 1944 to Fred Bowers Sells who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Georgia Romines; brothers, Orman, Orlan, and Emmett Bilbrey and two infant sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Hennessee of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Wanda Sells of Manchester, TN; three grandchildren, Joshua Sells and wife, April of Huntsville, AL, Jonathan Sells of Knoxville, TN and Demetria Hennessee of Cookeville, TN; sister, Cleo Harris of Livingston, TN; two brothers, Frank Bilbrey of Livingston, TN and Roy Lee Bilbrey of California; brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, Jim and Bobbie Sells of Livingston, TN; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Speck Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, TN with Glenn Ledbetter officiating. Burial followed in the Sells Cemetery in Overton County, TN.
