Donald Oswald SETZER

McMinnville resident and Monroe County, PA native Donald Oswald Setzer, age 98, was born August 5, 1911 and died October 30, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. An electrician contractor and member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, he was the son of the late John Alvin and Bessie M. Hofener Setzer. He was married to Arlene Grace Long Setzer who precede him in death August 14, 2000. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Robert Setzer; daughter, Lorane Setzer Toncik and sister, Anna Arelen Welk. He is survived by seven children, Clara Miller, Lawrence J. Setzer, Leslie Setzer, Barry Setzer, Kenneth Setzer, Donald Setzer, Jr. and Beverly Setzer all of Wind Gap, PA; caregiver, Wilma Chisam of McMinnville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews. There will be no services at High's.
