Sedryc Phelan SIMMONS

McMinnville resident and Tullahoma, TN native Sedryc Phelan Simmons, age 7, was born March 26, 2002 and died April 24, 2009 at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. A first grade student at Hickory Creek Elementary School, he was the son of James and Lori Simmons of McMinnville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, James Alyc Simmons and Spencer Zane Simmons both of McMinnville; special sister, Jennifer Simmons of McMinnville; paternal grandparents, Timmy and Patricia Muncey of Winchester, TN; maternal grandparents, Jane and Ben Wilhite of McMinnville and Mike and Genay Moore of Tarpon Springs, FL; aunts and uncles, Michael Moore of Wartburg, TN, Ben Moore, Timmy Allen and Crystal Muncey all of McMinnville, Moses Lynn of Australia, Tony and Linda Lynn and Rolanda and Cleveland Rogers all of Phoenix City, AL, Latonya and Angela Lynn, Juan and Dana Lynn and Tim and Sabrina Crawford all of Columbus, GA, Rita Tidwell of Chattanooga, TN and great-uncle, Sidney Smartt of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2009 in High's Chapel with George Roberts and Joe King officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
