Jessie Jo Jernigan SNIDER

McMinnville resident and Springfield, TN native Jessie Jo Jernigan Snider, age 71, was born July 2, 1938 and died November 3, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Findlay Industries and Goody's Department Store and a member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was was the daughter of the late Cecil and Martha Poole Harris. She was married to D.L. Snider who preceded her in death August 6, 1997. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ernie Dowlen. She is survived by children, Rawlin Jernigan, Jr., Jan Jernigan Wilcher, Jill Jernigan Ferrell, Paul Jernigan and Tim Jernigan and wife Brittany all of McMinnville; children's father and former husband, Rawlin C. Jernigan, Sr. of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Chad Wilcher of McMinnville, Wyatt Ferrell of McMinnville, Connor Jernigan of McMinnville, Zach Jernigan of Murfreesboro, TN, Xander Lee of McMinnville and Dayton Jernigan of McMinnville; two sisters, Suzanne Convisor and Rose Mary Jenkins; two brothers, Gary Harris of Georgia and Steve Dowlen of Gallatin, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
