Fred Thomas STILES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Fred Thomas Stiles, age 58, was born February 16, 1951 and died August 2, 2009 at Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. A draftsman with A.E.D.C., United States Navy veteran and member of the Central Church of Christ, he was the son of the late H.B. and Maggie Ulla Spain Stiles, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, H.B. Stiles, Jr.; half-brothers, John, Ross and George Stiles; two sisters, Ella Mae Moore and Mildred Duke; four half-sisters, Willie Cantrell, Wavie McCormick, Delma Hill and Thelma Glenn. He is survived by one son, Jeremy Christopher Stiles of Colorado; four grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, N.B. and Faye Stiles of McMinnville and Charles and Joyce Stiles of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth McGee of McMinnville and Betty and Harry Preston of Crossville, TN. A graveside service and inurnment was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Mt. View Cemetery with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Full military honors were administered by the American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064.
