Edith Mai THOMISON

August 19, 1918 — May 27, 2009

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Edith Mai Thomison, age 90, was born August 19, 1918 and died May 27, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired employee of Caterpillar and member of the Shellsford Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James and Shelia Dodson Hale. She was married to Robert Wilson "Ram" Thomison who preceded her in death in 1974. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Frances Roberts, Lorella Sullivan and Dorothy Johnson and two brothers, James Hale, Jr. and Eugene Hale. She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Thomison of McMinnville; three sisters, Alma Lee Holder and Billie Bottoms both of McMinnville and Shirley McQueray of Little Rock, CA; two brothers, Charles Hale of Little Rock, CA and Robert Wayne Hale of Painesville, OH; first cousin, Juanita Higginbotham Medley of McMinnville and two step-sisters, Betty Jean Smith of McMinnville and Evelyn Flippen of Nashville, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Shellsford Cemetery.
