James Lavoy TILLETT

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native James Lavoy Tillett, age 82, was born June 24, 1926 and died April 17, 2009 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following a sudden illness. A retired employee of A.E.D.C., a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Morrison Church of Christ, where he served as longtime treasurer. He was the son of the late Lavoy Medford Tillett and Georgia McAfee. He is survived by his wife, Patty Tillett of Morrison, TN; cousins, C. H. Tillett of Hillsboro, TN, Kenneth McAfee and Rod McAfee both of Morrison, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2009 in High's Chapel with Roger Comstock officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery.
