Dollie Mae TURNER

April 24, 1922 — December 4, 2009

McMinnville resident and Dekalb County, TN native Dollie Mae Turner, age 87, was born April 24, 1922 and died December 4, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired supervisor with McMinnville Garment and member of the First Assembly of God, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Effie Young Pinegar. She was married to Floyd Brown Turner who preceded her in death December 4, 2003. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Turner. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Larry Bailey of Germantown, TN and Linda and David Pack of Hixson, TN; five grandchildren and their spouses, Wayne and Melanie Turner of Columbia, TN, Jeff and Melodie Ashford of McMinnville, Traci and Lance Denton of Memphis, TN and Alan and Karen Pack and Steven Pack both of Dunlap, TN; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Doshie and J.E. Hines of Smyrna, TN and Ofallon Jordan of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Reba Pinegar, Jr. of Fayetteville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009 in High's Chapel with Sammy Lee and Irene Cope officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
