Nancy Gribble WATTS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Nancy Gribble Watts, age 81, was born June 5, 1928 and died November 3, 2009 at her residence. A retired employee of Cookeville Production Credit and City Bank & Trust Company and member of the First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James Logan and Ola Irene Meadows Gribble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Horace Watts. She was married to Horace L. Watts. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bruce Burns of Asheville, NC; grandson, Brian Burns of Chapel Hill, NC; sister, Dot Lynn of McMinnville; niece and her husband, Zanda and Jim Daigle of New York; nephew and his wife, Alan and Paula Lynn of McMinnville and great-nephews, Parker and Tucker Lynn of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Dr. James Porch officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels or First Baptist Church.
