SR., Robert Lovell WILLIAMS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Robert Lovell Williams, Sr., age 90, was born April 16, 1918 and died March 13, 2009 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Indiana Steel and Wire and a member of the Protestant faith, he was the son of the late Stanley and Jessie Lee Patton Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Henry Williams and three sisters, Irene Cramer, Ruth Lefarth and Mary Turner. He is survived by special friend, Margie Luna of McMinnville; three children and their spouses, Barbara Ann Stacey, Robert Lovell and Carol Williams, Jr. and Anthony and Cindy Williams all of Muncie, IN; two brothers, Fred Williams of Arkansas and Eden Williams of McMinnville; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of friends, including, Darlene McBride & Howard, Danielle Pezzimenti, Charles McBride, Crystal McBride, Hunter Pezzimenti, Stormie Grace Pezzimenti, Glen and Levonia Gill, Darrell, Beth, Eli, Noah and Darvin Gill, Noah and Virginia Chisma and Michael Martin. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Robert Sabo, Dr. Jim Jenkins and the staff at River Park Hospital. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 in High's Chapel with Tim Callaway officiating. Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery.
