Eva Lois YOUNG

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Eva Lois Young, age 67, was born April 22, 1941 and died February 19, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a two-week illness. A seamstress and member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Minnie Bailey Drewar. She was married to John Darty "Jr." Young who preceded her in death April 16, 1998. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Alice Rogers; four brothers, William, James and Jessie Drewar and George Ladd and son, James Anthony Young. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Darlene Young, Steven Christopher Young and Stacey Lynn and Kelley Young all of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Anthony Tyler Young, Stephanie Marisa Young, Travis Dylan Young, Trevor Allen Young, John Brantley Young and Braylan Moore Young; great-grandson, Derek Landon Young and special friend, Arnold Dodson of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009 in High's Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Kirby officiating. Burial followed in the Young Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN.
