Dorothy Margaret BARNES

McMinnville resident and Getzville, NY native Dorothy Margaret Barnes, age 86, was born March 10, 1924 and died March 14, 2010 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a short illness. A homemaker and member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Laura Shisler Rogers. She was married to Earl S. Barnes who preceded her in death in 1991. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Linda and Joe Hickey of McMinnville, Richard and Beverly Barnes of Shelbyville, NC, Gary and Brenda Barnes of Asheville, NC and Jeffery and Judy Barnes of Concord, NC; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Pine Castle in Florida. Burial followed in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Orlando, FL.
