Paul Oldham BARNES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Paul Oldham Barnes, age 77, was born April 18, 1933 and died August 19, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. The owner of B&P Lamp Supply and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Lawson and Pauline VanHooser Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Barnes. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Debbie Barnes and Paul Michael and Lesa Barnes both of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Laura Beth Gheesling of Ocoee, TN, Michael Barnes of McMinnville, Grace Martin of Knoxville, TN and Nada Jacobs of Manhatten, KS; great-grandchildren, Nathan Barnes and Eli Barnes and the mother of his children, Ann Barnes. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 in High's Chapel with Andy Gay officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
