Paul Anthony BOYD

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County, TN native Paul Anthony Boyd, age 65, was born September 24, 1944 and died February 22, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A construction worker with Pioneer Building Supply and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Paul Henry and Alice Roberta Christian Boyd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald "Duck" Boyd. He was married October 26, 1963 to Lucille Mooneyham Boyd of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Deirdra and Eddie Dodson of Morrison, TN, Paula and Kevin Madewell of Van Buren County, TN and P.T. Boyd of McMinnville; five grandchildren, EMFA Tony Dodson of Morrison, TN and Jessica Dodson, Kyler Boyd, Celia Boyd and Maley Boyd all of McMinnville; great-grandchild, Tyler Dodson of Grundy County, TN; two brothers and sister-in-law, Bruce and Babs Boyd of the Irving College Community and Keith Boyd of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Danny Mullican of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Jo Boyd of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in High's Chapel with Damon Woodlee officiating. Burial followed in the Bascom Cemetery.
