John Morgan BROWN

McMinnville resident (longtime resident of the Walter Hill Community in Rutherford County, TN) and Warren County native John Morgan Brown, age 84, was born July 16, 1925 and died March 29, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Better Bilt in Smyrna, TN and member of the Methodist Church, he was the son of the late John O. and Margaret Rollins Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Hannah Lou Roach and brother, Marcus Brown. He was married to Betty Sue Brown of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Vickie Ann Brown and Michelle Elizabeth Harris both of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Velma Eckert of McMinnville and Virginia Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Morrison Cemetery with Billy Reed officiating.
