Eula Locke BRYANT

December 25, 1913 — October 8, 2010

Indianapolis, IN resident and Warren County, TN native Eula Locke Bryant, age 96, was born December 25, 1913 and died October 8, 2010. A retired secretary with American United Life Insurance Company and member of the Northeast Church of Christ in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Marcie Lee Sparkman Locke. She was married to John B. Bryant who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Milton L. Madewell; daughter, Dorothy J. Roddy; two brothers, William N. and Eugene Locke and sister, Floal L. Delaney. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda K. Bryant of North Camby, IN and Linda R. Godan of Brownsburg, IN; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Jack Locke of McMinnville and John Locke of Greenbrier, TN and four sisters, Anna L. Duke of McMinnville, Roberta L. Bell of Springfield, TN, Pauline L. Holmes of Indianapolis, IN and Mary L. McCollum of Nashville, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 in High's Chapel with Keith Barnett officiating. Burial followed at Salem Cemetery.
