Elsie Knight CANTRELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Elsie Knight Cantrell, age 100, was born March 6, 1910 and died December 20, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ullyses S.G. and Louella Byars Knight; She was married to Charles Dalton Cantrell who preceded her in death in 1976. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Donald Cantrell in 1994, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Madison and Reba Prater both of McMinnville; son, J. Paul Cantrell of McMinnville; two daughters-in-law, Margaret Cantrell and Joyce Cantrell both of McMinnville; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Nabors of Vonore, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in High's Chapel with Johnny Lance officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Cemetery.
