Peggy Ann McBride CARR

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Peggy Ann McBride Carr, age 67, was born September 13, 1943 and died October 17, 2010 following a short illness. A retired employee of Thomas Industries and member of the Doyle Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Collie and Hattie Fisher McBride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Allen Carr; three sisters, Clara and Eva Roberts and Henrietta Templeton and three brothers, Merrill, Dan and Jim McBride. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Brad Hillis of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Cody Mackie, Hayley Mackie and Taylor Hillis all of McMinnville, Courtney Carr Allen of Cookeville, TN, Chad Carr of North Carolina and Asheley Carr and Jeremy Flatt both of Sparta, TN; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Mackie and Connor Allen; sister, Laurene Hudson of Walling, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in White County, TN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
