JR., Ernest Fredrick CARRIER

McMinnville resident and Michigan native Ernest Fredrick Carrier, Jr., age 59, was born July 28, 1951 and died December 28, 2010 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. An employee of Lightning Express and member of Providence Baptist Church, he was the son of Ernest Carrier, Sr. of Scottville, MI and the late Barbara Gokey Carrier. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Robby Curtis. He was married April 4, 1970 to Peggy Carrier of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ricky Curtis and Barbie Travers both of McMinnville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernie and Karen Carrier of Okeechobee, FL and Randy and Kim Carrier of McMinnville; five grandsons, five granddaughters, four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; two sisters and brother-in-law, Beverly Seymour of Cookeville, TN and Vicky and Gary Franklin of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Kristi Carrier of Rock Island, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 in High's Chapel with Steve Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery.
