Dwight CARTER

Walling, TN resident and White County, TN native Dwight Carter, age 58, was born November 2, 1951 and died April 27, 2010 at his residence following a sudden illness. A supervisor with Tennsmith, he was the son of the late Donald and Pearl Swindell Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Lynette Carter and sister, Tammy Yates. He is survived by one son, Kelly Carter of Rock Island, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Joe Hale of New Boston, MI; grandsons, Brayden Carter of McMinnville and Justin Hale of New Boston, MI; granddaughters, Samantha Hale and Savannah Hale both of New Boston, MI; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Treva Carter of Rock Island, TN; sister, Cindy Martin of McMinnville; nephews, Jeff Carter and wife Jennifer and Chad Carter and wife Leslie both of Rock Island, TN, Robby Boissonneault and wife Linda of the Centertown Community, Kevin Yates of Fayetteville, TN and Derek Evans of Smithville, TN; niece, Amanda Gibson and husband Troy of Fayetteville, TN and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 in High's Chapel with Greg Hibdon officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
