Edwin Howard CATEN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Edwin Howard Caten, age 45, was born December 14, 1964 and died May 15, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A maintenance worker at Three Star Mall and a member of Campaign Church of God of Prophecy, he was the son of Stella Johnson Caten of McMinnville and the late Edgar Caten. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Ruth Atnip and Debbie Lynn Cherry. He was married to Rose Ward Caten of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Joshua Dillon Caten of McMinnville; brother, Glenn "Bubba" Cherry of McMinnville; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce Atnip and Gary and Joyce Cherry both of McMinnville; two nieces, Lynette Hawkins and husband Jake of Illinois and Telia Cherry of McMinnville; nephew, Jared Wayne Cherry and wife Holly and great-nephews, Brian Hawkins and Ethan Cherry. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in High's Chapel with Vernon Caruthers and Bruce Atnip officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery.
