Marty Joe COOPER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Marty Joe Cooper, age 49, was born January 1, 1961 and died April 17, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a two-year illness. A truck driver with Weaver Transport and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Elmer Lee Cooper and Joyce Burks Trussel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Trevor and Logan Freeman. He was married to Josie Cooper of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Jennifer Mercer of Pikeville, TN, Mandy and Tommy Cranmore of Dunlap, TN and Marty Joe Cooper of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Austin Mercer of Pikeville, TN and Brooklyn and Tommy Cranmore, Jr. both of Dunlap, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Campbell of McMinnville and two brothers and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Cooper of McMinnville and Bobby Cooper of Manchester, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in High's Chapel with Josh Myers officiating. Burial followed in the Myers Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
