McMinnville resident and Davidson County, TN native Stephanie Lynn Robinson Craven, age 61, was born September 4, 1948 and died January 12, 2010 at her residence following a one-year illness. A retired employee of the State of Tennessee Child Welfare Department and member of First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late William Ralph and Dorothy Florence Goad Robinson; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Henry and Kate Robinson; maternal grandparents, Irving Greer and Velma Sircy Goad and father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Sarah Mae Craven. She was married April 5, 1985 to Tommy Craven of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four step-children and their spouses, Christy Craven Carlson of McMinnville, Latisha Craven of Nashville, TN, Calisha Craven and Harrison Woodlee of Rock Island, TN and Thomas Craven of Smyrna, TN; seven grandchildren, Cole Carlson, Cade Carlson, Cali Carlson, Tiember Craven, Icie-Mae Craven, True Craven and Weston Woodlee; brother and sister-in-law, William Larry and Edna Robinson of Birmingham, AL; sister and brother-in-law, Linda Lee Robinson and James Newby of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, William David Robinson of Montevallo, AL, Michael Greer and Angie Robinson of Alabaster, AL, Jacqueline Newby and David Bouldin of Allen, TX, James and Tamara Newby of McMinnville and Teresa Newby and Stan Pickens of Manchester, TN; thirteen great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010 in High's Chapel with Dr. Steve Angus officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
