Ruby Vera Malone CURTIS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native, Ruby Vera Malone Curtis, age 97, was born March 8, 1913 and died October 28, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired employee of Molloy's Laundry and a member of West End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lon and Florence Childress Malone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mack and Claude Malone; sister, Gladys George; two sons, Jewell and Chuck Hale and granddaughter, Darlene Hale Dalman. She is survived by one sister, Essie Lena Bouldin of McMinnville; four granddaughters and their husbands, Terri Hale McDonald and husband Wallace of Texas, Paulette Hale Lewis of McMinnville, Leeann Cox and husband Kenneth of McMinnville and Patricia Brady of McMinnville; grandson, Paul Hale of McMinnville; thirteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and special niece, Sherry Todd. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2010 with Pokie George officiating. Burial followed in Mt. View Cemetery.
