Ruby D. DANLEY

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Ruby D. Danley, age 78, was born December 25, 1931 and died September 3, 2010 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A retired employee of Carrier and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Duke V. and Chloe Bell Judkins Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee Duke Cantrell, Jr. and Felix and Mc Don Cantrell and three sisters, Inez Crouch, Joanna Ferrell and Jeannette Rogers. She is survived by one daughter, Marcie Owens of McMinnville; granddaughter, Carmen Huffman of Bright, IN; great-granddaughter, Isabella Huffman of Bright, IN; two brothers, Jerry Cantrell and Dorris Cantrell both of McMinnville; sister, Judy Hammock of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews; half-sister, Irene Davis of Lebanon, TN and two step-daughters, Benita Vann of McMinnville and Bobbie Bodlin of Spencer, TN. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Providence Baptist Church with Jonathan Womack officiating. Inurnment followed in the Young Bend Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN.
