William Charles Doc DILLARD

McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Charles "Doc" Dillard, age 48, was born July 23, 1961 and died May 15, 2010 at his residence. A crane operator for Bell & Associates and member of the Hiawassee Church of Christ, he was the son of Amanda Dillard Whitaker of McMinnville and the late Toot Ramsey. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Leon Whitaker. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Krista and Trista Dillard both of McMinnville; brother, Kelly Whitaker of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Isaiah, Kristopher, Harmoni and Kingston; two cousins, James and Herman Dillard and one niece and two nephews, Chelsea, Alex and Aaron. A memorial service was held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Hiawassee Church of Christ with Chris Whitaker officiating. Inurnment followed in the Faulkner Cemetery @ Pike Hill.
